HYDRAULIC HOT SHEARS - B.C.G.S.
The model B.C.G.S. 180 is designed for shearing bars at temperatures up to 1200 deg.C with heating by gas or induction heating.
All of the machine functions are electronically controlled, including temperature, length control, pressure of cutting device and speed of bar feed.

All motions of the shear are hydraulically actuated, including the legth control, and feeding back cooled bars into the heater.
An automatic unscrambling device takes bars from the bundle and loads them onto the feeder roller. Heated bars may be withdrawn and placed on a cooling rack by a special device.
The induction heater is capable of handling mm square and round sections up to 80 and is integrated into the shearing line, with the heater coils located in the roller feeder. The B.C.G.S. 250 line is serviced by a 5000KW heater with 12 coils.
